If you are having major issues trying to find ways on how to get motivated to work out, you came to the right place! Let’s face it, I totally understand why people don’t like going to the gym, and I also understand why many people do like going to the gym! So How To Get Motivated To Work Out is a tricky subject.
You are obviously someone who can’t get motivated to work out, and don’t like going to the gym, that is why you are reading this article right?
All you need to do, is learn How To Get Motivated To Work Out. At this point, you might have tried many of the Dumbest Workout Products Ever, but they are not working and you still need to figure out how to motivate yourself to go to the gym!
Many people do 2 things wrong when trying to get motivated for the gym.
- They think they have to be dedicated
- They expect results too fast!
In most cases, people just stop eating carbs, starve themselves, and expect to be shredded in the matter of days. This does not work, and the video below explains why!
So lets jump into how to get motivated to work out and what you need to do!
1. Go To The Gym!
It seems obvious, but you’d be surprised at how many people simply fail to even do this.
I never said what you have to do when you get to the gym, I just said that you have to go there. Don’t tell me you can’t just walk on the treadmill and listen to music! 🔥🔥
The point of this is, that now you are someone that goes to the gym, and works out. What the workout it does not matter for the moment. You are changing your identity into someone that goes to the gym and is into fitness!
PLEASE DRINK SOME CAFFEINE BEFORE YOU GO!
It’ has been proven that caffeine increases your motivation to workout, increases your heart rate, decreases appetite, and also just gets you wired to move around. I suggest you take some, and a lot 😁
2. Change Your Identity
Going to the gym has nothing to do with dedication. The only thing you have to do, is be dedicated to just going for a short amount of time, and that will change your identity. But this means going to the gym 5 days a week for a month or so. 👊👊👊
That will change your identity and you will become someone that goes to the gym! People change when they do a lot of activity in a short amount of time, like getting thrown into water and learning how to swim.
- You can help yourself do this by watching motivational youtube videos while drinking your coffee in the morning!
3. Stay Consistent With Workout Motivation!
Everyone will tell you to stay consistent with going to the gym and working out, but you should stay consistent with workout motivation most importantly!
What do I mean by this? I mean that you should watch a short video on fitness motivation or weight loss motivation every morning after you dink your coffee and get ready to go to the gym.
Why should you do this? Because the repetitive action of getting motivated to work out will become habit, and it will also motivate you to get to the gym during your short burst of action (going to the gym 5 days a week for a month). This will change you!
4. Understand What Workout Motivation Really Is
To be honest, dedication and commitment is something that does not exist! People only need to be dedicated when they are doing something they don’t like doing! People that love to work out, do not need any dedication or commitment. They simply enjoy going to the gym!
Motivation is a skill, and a habit if you understand that, and develop the skill. You develop the mental skill of being motivated to work out, by consistently motivating yourself every single day as I previously mentioned.
5. Working Out Is Not The Hard Part, It’s The Diet
You have heard many people say the following, and you don’t even know what to believe anymore.
- Diet is 75% of the work
- Diet is 80% of the work
- Diet is 90% of the work
Well sorry to burst your bubble, but diet is 100% of it, and working out is 100% of the deal!
The main difference here is, that people think that working out is the hard part, and it’s not. Dieting is the hard part. It’s easy to go do a workout while listening to some music, drinking coffee and watching a motivational video. It’s hard to skip the pasta during lunch when you are starving!
6. Get Some Friends That Are Fit
The simple truth is, that you are the average of closest 5 people you hang out with. That is a fact. You don’t need to get rid of any friends, but you can add some that are fit, and will raise your level and standards you have for your own fitness goals. Here is a video on how association is so important!
Concentrate on small wins. Every day you make it to the gym, and make the right food choice, you are changing your identity into a person that cares about their fitness and health. Do not focus on results, focus on your mental state of mind, until motivating yourself, eating healthy, and going to the gym just becomes habit, and something you like to do! 😁😁😁
